The Office of Financial Planning and Analysis has a new name: Budget and Financial Planning.
The updated name better reflects the team’s work in supporting UC Merced’s operating budget and long‑range financial planning. The office guides the stewardship of UC Merced’s financial resources and manage fiscal processes and policies in support of the University’s strategic plans and goals. Our collaboration with campus units, financial oversight, establishment of planning frameworks and tools, and decision support for campus leadership supports the university in achieving its mission and strategic goals.
Our vision is to be a collaborative partner for campus community members in developing operating budgets and managing financial resources.
Campus partners should continue working with the team as they do today.
