UCMPlan Update: FY26 Budget Adjustments and Process Improvements

Dear Colleagues,

Thank you for your patience as we finalized the budget roll forward and implementation of UCMPlan process improvements.

Budget adjustments for FY26 can now be processed in UCMPlan and we ask that you please review the updated budget request guides linked below as some steps have changed.

Following are a few system improvements that were implemented to better support the campus community and improve overall efficiency:

  • Larger data loads allowable per Budget Request 
  • New Multiple Year Budget Request form – Budget adjustments that are not expected to be ongoing but may span multiple years with an anticipated end date. Please note that the budget request numbers for this type of request (i.e. BR26001) will differ from One-Time and Recurring request (i.e. BR00001).   
  • Improved performance in data retrieval for Year-to-Date (YTD) data – as part of this update, data retrieval requirements may affect your existing/future SmartView reports.  The YTD member selection must not be used in combination with Year Total.  SmartView parameters example:
