The Division of Finance and Administration is actively working on exciting enhancements to the university's planning and budgeting module (UCMPLAN).
In working with various campus partners, we are engaging in a UCMPlan redesign project that allows for:
- Drill-through capabilities for Actuals.
- Improved functionality and reduced touchpoints for retrieving data.
- Improved tracing and internal documentation/notations in the system.
- The introduction of encumbrance tracking to reduce the reliability on shadow systems.
- Implementing workforce cube to streamline financial management related to personnel costs.
- Expanded system structure to allow for further optimization.
